This is one of my personal favorites. For years it was the only badtime book I saved. Note the grand scope of the story, the pacing, the characters, the exotic locations, the side gags, the start with the reader in bed, the final editorial, and the sheer lunacy of it all!
The pages had to be scanned at much larger than original size, or else some of the small print would be lost. As it is, I lightened the background on the text box of the first page to make the smallest print readable.
All comic art copyright IPC magazines (1970s) and Egmont International (today).
Thanks to Irmantas, Muffy, the Hornet, Toonhound, Peter Gray, John Pollock, and Andy & Sharon Laney-Davis for most of the scans. Thanks to Kashgar, Lew Stringer, Bustercomic, philcom55 and SteveZodiac of comicsuk.co.uk for general help and information. And of course thanks to Leo Baxendale and all the writers, artists and editors who created these gems in the first place!
